A Story Every Everyone Should Hear 💔
A student came to school late
As punishment, he was told to floor wax the hallway under the heat of the sun.
No one asked why he was late.
No one asked if he had eaten, slept, or was okay.
He spent 30 minutes sweating and working.
By the time he reached his classroom on the 3rd floor, he collapsed.
His classmates helped him.
They gave him water, helped him change, and brought him to the infirmary.
That’s when his story came out:
Every day, after school, he sells eco-bags in the streets to help his family.
He gets home at 10 PM, eats late, does chores, and sleeps around 1 AM.
Then wakes up at 5 AM to go to school.
He didn’t tell anyone.
He didn’t want to be judged or pitied.
But he didn’t need punishment.
He needed understanding.
He needed someone to ask, “Anak, okay ka lang ba?”
