Creamy Cheesy Beef Spaghetti Skillet
This creamy beef spaghetti skillet is rich, cheesy, and full of comforting homemade flavor. Tender spaghetti is coated in a creamy tomato sauce with seasoned ground beef and plenty of melted cheese. Everything cooks together in one skillet for an easy Italian-style dinner that feels warm and satisfying.
Ingredients:
12 oz spaghetti
1 lb ground beef
1 tablespoon olive oil
1 small onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
2 cups marinara sauce
1 cup beef broth
1 cup heavy cream
1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Salt and black pepper to taste
1 1/2 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded
1/2 cup parmesan cheese, grated
Fresh parsley for garnish
Preparation:
Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain and set aside.
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add the chopped onion and cook until softened. Stir in the garlic and cook for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the ground beef and cook until browned, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any excess grease if needed.
Pour in the marinara sauce, beef broth, and heavy cream. Stir well and season with Italian seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer gently for about 5 minutes until slightly thickened.
Add the cooked spaghetti to the skillet and toss until fully coated in the creamy sauce. Sprinkle mozzarella and parmesan cheese evenly over the top. Cover for a few minutes until the cheese is melted and bubbly. Garnish with fresh parsley before serving warm.
Senior Tip:
For even more flavor, let the beef develop a deep golden crust before adding the sauce. Those browned bits give the skillet a richer homemade taste.
