Gathering the greatest wines from Bordeaux and the finest gastronomy the world has to offer, in a landmark architecturally unique venue of NYC. BurdiGala: The Latin name given to Bordeaux during the Roman Empire in 56 A.D. In 2013 BurdiGala was the Premier event in NYC celebrating exclusively Bordeaux. BurdiGala is an homage to the annual Bordelais celebration, “La Fête de la Fleur”, which is held
at a different Château each June, and celebrates the perennial flowering of the vines by bringing together all members of the region’s wine community for a night that has become the embodiment of the Bordelais spirit, culture and soul. BurdiGala NYC is comprised of two events: a Grand Tasting and a Gala Dinner. The event unites the top wine producers from Bordeaux with both the United States’ most enthusiastic and avid Bordeaux collectors, as well as top wine industry professionals. It starts with the Grand Tasting showcasing a vertical of exceptional vintages selected by each participating Château (including one common vintage). It is then followed by an unforgettable black-tie Gala Dinner inviting all guests to bring their most prized Bordeaux bottles to share and experience amongst Château owners and fellow Bordeaux aficionados alike.
