Eemas Cuisine is a Food Stand concept of Serve M.E. Now. EC's focus is to serve up Hawaiian & Filipi

In Ilocano, a dialect of Northern Philippines, “Naimas,” is the perfect word to describe tasty, yummy, and delicious food. And like all words, people have shortened the expression simply to “Imas” pronounced, EEMAS! Eemas Cuisine is a food stand that delivers American Regional fare utilizing local and sustainable ingredients found in New Jersey and New York. From the Hawaiian islands to the bayous of Louisiana and from the New England states to the hospitality the South offers, Eemas Cuisine strives to give you a little taste of everything our country has to offer. EC takes the best and favorite foods of our country’s regions, incorporates some fresh ingredients only found in the tri-state area, and applies a culinary twist before introducing it to your palate.

JC Heights, you showed up for us once again! 🌺🇵🇭
Our Hawaiian & Filipino Pop-Up returned to the Riverview Farmers Market for the Heights Holiday Market, and despite the freezing temps (and that mini snowstorm!), the community came through with so much love.

We’re beyond grateful for your support of our small business and all the amazing local vendors. Wishing everyone in Jersey City a warm, healthy, and happy holiday season. ❄️❤️

See you next year!

I am reaching out today on behalf of a valued member of our Eemas Cuisine team and family, Danny Lozano. Danny has worked with me over 5 years. Throughout this time, Danny has consistently shown himself to be a dedicated, hardworking, and reliable individual. His commitment to his family and his education has always been just as strong as his work ethic.

Recently, Danny was involved in a tragic car accident in New Jersey the evening of the 28th. The accident claimed the life of the driver and left Danny and two other passengers hospitalized. While one remains in critical condition, Danny faces a long and challenging road to recovery.

In light of this devastating event, his family has organized a GoFundMe fundraiser to help cover medical expenses and support them through this difficult time. I do not often make personal appeals here, but I am asking you to consider contributing or sharing the fundraiser so that we can provide Danny and his family with the support they urgently need.

On behalf of myself, our team, and Danny’s loved ones, thank you for any assistance you can provide — whether through a donation, a share, or keeping Danny and his family in your thoughts and prayers. Mahalo & Salamat!

Chef Flo’s favorite, our Kalua Pork Musubi, features pork butts slow-braised for five hours in banana leaves with citrus, secret ingredients, and a hint of liquid smoke. (He wishes he could bury them underground with coconut husks and hot stones for that authentic touch!) Once incredibly tender, the pork is mixed with chopped cabbage and stewed in its own flavorful braising liquid. Like our other open-faced musubis, it’s served over seasoned rice and arugula, wrapped in nori. fo’sho! 🤙🏽
