Semana Santa in Bilbao - precessions of Pintxos, txakoli and thrones-on-wheels 😁. The basques pride themselves on their exquisite food & wine and they’re also recognized in Spain for their efficiency. Check out the pace of their processions vs. those in Malaga 🤣.

Saeta 💜 sung prayer during Semana Santa 💐

Holy Tuesday on Calle San Agustín. Listening to a “saeta” a prayer that is sung that sounds like Flamenco “cante hondo”, gives me goose-bumps every time.

“Lunes Santo” processions, taking in the beauty and pure devotion of Holy Week in Málaga watching several “cofradías” (brotherhoods). This evening we followed la cofradía de los Gitanos, El Cristo y La Virgen de los Gitanos, the oldest cofradía of Lunes Santo dating back to the 17th C. Followed by El Cautivo cofradía of a the colorful neighborhood La Trinidad, one of the city’s most revered processions. And finally, around midnight the cofradía Los Estudiantes procession one of Malaga’s largest cofradía with over 3,000 devotees. This highly coveted viewing is thanks to my “cuñao” Javi Mora and of course my honey José ❤️🙏✝️

Discovering the hidden jewels in - the underground cellars “calados” dating back to the 16th century, with a family-owned winery for over 5 generations in the village of San Ascencio, Rioja Alta. Such a treat to have a private visit with Lidia and her father Luis. MIL GRACIAS 🙏🍷 Sharing this experience with dear friends and Tom Perry even more special. Can’t wait to introduce clients to this exceptional winery, making beautiful wines! ❤️🍷
