Growin’ Wisdom: The practice of nurturing our innermost selves must become a daily habit. Many people lack self-awareness and fail to recognize their own behaviors. Their self-focus is often mistaken for self-care, but true self-care does not come at the expense of others.

It is our responsibility to examine the practices, behaviors, and belief systems we have normalized to the point of blindness—where we no longer see their harm or distortion. This awareness ensures that our actions do not infringe upon the well-being of others.

This is especially challenging in a society that has normalized “conquering,” “bullying,” and “aggression” as acceptable means of protecting one’s space, often at the cost of others. We have grown apathetic and disconnected from balance. However, reestablishing a mindset that honors and uplifts the humanity of all is not an impossible task. When we decenter greed and shift away from a scarcity mentality, we open the door to a world of greater possibility and wonder.
