Attention fellow farmers/gardeners. Farmer Steve has been approved to be the offical sourcer of produce, meats, and anything else needed, to vendors at a local concert venue. The venue is “supporting local” and is requiring vendors have a certain % of local goods on their menus.
That being said, over the next 2 weeks we would gladly help you unload your excess end of season produce. These vendors go through large amounts of produce in a fairly short amount of time. If you have produce piling up, let us know what you’ve got and we’ll likely be able to get it sold! Most vendors won’t be starting until the 15th, but several start earlier and have already starting putting in pre-orders.
Most are looking for things like: zucchini, yellow squash, peppers, tomatoes, green beans, cucumbers, sweet corn, potatoes and all varieties of fruit. These items can be 2nd’s (meaning maybe not perfect to look at but ready to be cut up and used)

We finally have a few Bradford watermelons! We picked 8 or 9 today. Depending on weather and wildlife we may have more melons over the next few weeks. ( not a guarantee these will make it to final ripeness- its very late season)

Some melons are “scratch and dent” from the weather and groundhogs, but are still just as tasty as usual. As always, we guarantee your watermelon and will replace or reimburse if not the best ripeness.

Also have several herbs but won’t be putting fresh cut herbs on stand unless requested with plans to pick up same day.
