The Divino Tasting Room has officially moved from 38 Maiden Lane in Teachers Village to 145 Court Street, Maker Shop #3 at Newark Makerhoods! THANK YOU to all of our friends, family members, colleagues and loyal customers who have supported us since our Pre-Grand Opening in June 2019 to our last event in March 2024.

We would like to give a special shoutout and heartfelt thanks to our professional movers at Avant-Garde Moving, moving helpers at Mod Designs and Dream Movers, and dear friends Grace Marziani, Marco Marena, Sean Battle, and Dennise (Sharon) Davis for showing up during a torrential rainstorm on March 23rd and on Easter Sunday to help us pack and move. I owe you all a debt of gratitude ❤️.

Over the next few weeks we'll be unpacking and getting settled into our new space. Please continue following us online for updates to our websites and social media platforms. Also stay tuned for our Grand Re-Opening sometime in May 2024 (TBA).

Happy International Women's Day from the Divino Tasting Room! Today is a day to celebrate and reflect on the accomplishments of phenomenal women, in all walks of life, all around the world!!

As a black/lgbtq/woman-owned small business, we also want to publicly announce on this day that the Divino Tasting Room will be closing it's doors at 38 Maiden Lane and moving by the end of March 2024. After nearly five years of operating out of this location, we are moving due to economic hardship. We opened our doors in November 2019, only a few months before the beginning of the global Coronavirus Pandemic. Through a combination of personal savings, grants, small business loans, lines of credit, and the kindness of our landlord we've managed to survive thus far. Thanks to our numerous friends, family, loyal customers, collaborators and fellow entrepreneurs who have supported us throughout the years!

But that's not the end of our journey...As the expression goes, "When One Door Closes Another One Opens!" It took a village (Teachers Village) to raise us, now we're moving to the "Hood" (Newark Makerhoods), an innovative urban economic development project for small businesses and micro-entrepreneurs with limited resources and access to capital, located at the historical Krueger-Scott Mansion community. We're looking forward to this next chapter of re-tooling, collaboration, growth and further development for the Divino Tasting Room, Eatery & Lounge!

In the meantime, we're still OPEN for business at 38 Maiden Lane until March 17th. Please stay tuned for more info re: our Upcoming Events during Women's Month. We will be closed, packing and preparing for our move, the last two weekends of this month. Thank you for your continued support ❤️!!
