I'm a vegan mom who found that the best way to help her kid out with that whole awkward birthday party situation is to bake vegan cupcakes for the whole class that the kids would love so much they wouldn't know what hit them. Eventually this moved on to bringing cakes and vegan goods to grown up parties and family dinners. I started this business last year because I saw

a need that wasn't being met for vegans and people who wanted to try good vegan desserts in this area. After years of perfecting my baking as a hobby and a way to show affection to my friends and family I finally realized that there was an opportunity for me to make this into something bigger. I've met so many new, wonderful people through this first year of business from all walks of life who are working toward making the world a better place in one way or another and the one factor that brings us all together is what we eat! This business has become a way to help the community by donating food and money to local charities or participating in fundraisers and food drives, it's become a way to educate people on veganism and animal rights, it's become a way to show people that they don't have to give up deliciousness in order to live a cruelty-free life.
