If everyone leaves, who stays behind to build? Who creates jobs? Who invests in the next generation?

That’s why I’m committed to opening right here in Newark. The journey hasn’t been easy. From difficult lease agreements to unexpected setbacks, there have been moments that tested my faith and patience. But quitting was never an option.

Beyond Soul is more than a business—it’s a commitment to the community that helped shape me.

First and foremost, thank you to everyone who came out and supported us during our opening weekend at 319 Clinton Ave. The love, patience, and support did not go unnoticed.

After a strong opening weekend, we’re taking a brief pause to tighten up a few things behind the scenes so we can serve you even better. We learned a lot, identified a few areas we want to improve, and we’re committed to giving you the best Beyond Soul experience possible.

We’ll be back Tuesday at 11:00 AM and we’re excited to announce that BREAKFAST is coming soon! 🍳☕️

This wasn’t easy for us to do… but sometimes community is what keeps a dream alive. ❤️

After being temporarily closed for almost 3 months, the bills never stopped — employee salaries, utilities, rent, and the everyday costs of running a business continued even while our doors were closed.

That’s why we made the decision to launch a GoFundMe campaign. Not for sympathy, but for support during a difficult season as we work to get back on our feet and continue serving the community we love.
