Sometimes Allah puts people in your path for a reason. 🤲🏾❤️

I met Mamadou in a BJ’s parking lot. I didn’t know him, didn’t know his story, but something in my heart told me to help him. I connected him with an opportunity at our restaurant, and today he’s an important part of our team—making some of the most AMAZING desserts and puddings! 🍮🔥

You never know how one small act of kindness can change someone’s journey. When Allah puts you in a position to open a door for someone, open it. You never know what can come from it. ❤️

Beyond Soul is setting the record straight. 🎙️

We had a business license that recently expired, and we are operating under a legal DBA. The AC in question was portable and cleared by the Fire Department.

Yet we remain locked out while thousands of dollars in fresh food sits inside rotting.

We’re not asking to avoid the rules — we’re asking for due process, a cure period, and the opportunity to correct any issues and REOPEN.

We just want a fair chance to get back to serving Newark. 🙏🏾

Beyond Soul is currently CLOSED and PADLOCKED — and the impact is devastating.

We recently received a large shipment of food, and with our doors closed, we now have a restaurant full of inventory going to waste. With no income coming in, every day we remain closed creates an even greater financial burden.

Our GoFundMe was created to help us cover critical expenses, including legal fees, necessary plumbing repairs, and replenishing the food and supplies we’ve lost during this closure.

We’re asking our community to stand with Beyond Soul. Every donation matters, and if you’re unable to give, simply sharing our story can make a difference.

Our goal is simple: REOPEN OUR DOORS, GET OUR TEAM BACK TO WORK, AND CONTINUE SERVING OUR COMMUNITY.
