Through raising chickens and selling eggs we are hoping to grow in the girls responsibility, a connection to our food and the earth, an entrepreneurial mindset, and generous spirits. From each dozen purchased $1 goes to a giving fund. Currently they are saving up to be able to provide a micro loan through Kiva (kiva.org) to a businesswoman somewhere in the world.

We have a few new chick friends to introduce...Meet Flossie Pearl, Edna II, Erma, Auden, Charlotte Rose, Elaine, and Summer. This brings our total up to 18 chickens! These gals will hopefully begin laying some time this fall, but in the mean time our other hens are turning out 9 to 11 eggs on average each day. If you're interested in a dozen fresh, delicious eggs, give us holler!

A dozen beautiful eggs laid today and ready for your breakfast tomorrow! Message me if you’d like to pick these up on the porch tomorrow. $6 per dozen.
