SAVE this itinerary for a *chef’s kiss* perfect day wine tasting in Newberg, OR 🍷

First, start off your day at  for some amazing sparkling wines from Roco’s wine maker but also from imported Italian wines. Don’t forgot to jump on the horse tire swing while you’re there!

Then, stop into downtown Newberg for lunch at  to sustain you for the rest of the wine-filled day with seriously delicious Mediterranean food.

Third, has to be  for amazing wines to be enjoyed with absolutely stunning views. And good news, you might also get a visit from the cutest winery cat while you’re there!

And last, get your French countryside vibes at  to finish your day in a beautiful estate with elegant wines. You might even get a sip or two from their sister label,

Meet your new favorite warm weather red.

Phoque Chillable is exactly what it sounds like — a Pinot Noir built for the kind of days that call for something cold, easy, and just interesting enough to keep you coming back for another glass. Piper blends early-picked fruit for that fresh, juicy tutti-frutti pop, with riper Pinot for depth and balance, then adds a hit of whole cluster for a little spice that keeps things fun (because that’s the name of the game, right?).

We just checked on Piper’s babies, and they are doing just fine! The newly grafted vines at West Wind are already pushing out some adorable new buds, and we can finally stop holding our breath. Grafting was a success, and if that’s not something worth celebrating, we don’t know what is!

Piper still has an exciting video for you on the grafting process, but for now, we are just thankful that we have buds and an exciting new varietal coming to West Wind!

Some wines have a story before the first drop is even poured.

Meet Herschel. Named after a 1925 wooden boat that inspired the entire Sealionne story, this limited release 2024 Pinot Noir is one of Piper’s most personal works to date. Born from Estate Ribbon Ridge fruit and crafted through a meticulous study of clone, elevation, and whole-cluster fermentation, only 60 bottles exist in the world. Five winning bidders will each take home a case, along with a hosted wine dinner in the location of their preference.

Herschel is our origin story in a bottle. We can’t think of a better way to share it.

It’s road trip time!

We’ll be pouring at Birch Road Clubhouse’s “On the Road” event in Seattle on Saturday, May 9th, an all-day celebration of Willamette Valley wine country set inside the stunning Stimson-Green Mansion, a beautifully preserved early 20th-century landmark in the heart of the city.

Come wander the historic rooms, taste cool-climate wines, and meet the people behind the bottles. Two sessions available: 1-3pm and 4-6pm. Tickets include wine tastings and a grazing table. Tickets available via the in bio.
