And that’s a wrap for the 2026 season! Thank you friends! I had a blast!

Honestly, I was pretty nervous going into this season, the first after closing our Newberg shop and opening up our farm shop. But it was a wonderful experience!

I loved being able to show visitors our distillation process as well as the different varieties we grow. And I was especially touched by those longtime Newberg customers who made it out to our farm in Dundee! So thank you once again for your support!!

We are taking a break but will open the farm shop again for a few days per week starting in November.

And our online shop is still up and running for your lavender needs 💜

Here in the Pacific Northwest, we are blessed with an abundance of berries — first come the strawberries, then blueberries and now blackberries. So, so many blackberries! We have a whole hedge of blackberries that I go out to pick from every day and yet there are still so many!

Believe me, I’m not complaining — I love having an abundance of blackberries — the trick is finding new ways to use them because I am running out of room in my freezer! Recently, I ran across a recipe for blackberry lavender ice cream, which I will be making this weekend. I thought you might enjoy it as well so I’ve posted it on my website under recipes -> desserts. The great news? This wonderful man turns 90 today! Happy birthday Dad!! We’re looking forward to celebrating with you this weekend!!

The bad news? We will be closed this weekend. (But we are open today, Thursday 9-1)

The other good news? The Willamette Valley Lavender Festival at the Chehalem Cultural Center is this weekend here in Newberg so there are lots of lavender happenings for you all to see!
