We have spatchcocked chickens available.

Spatchcocked just means we removed the spine and laid the chicken flat. This is ideal for smoking and grilling because it cooks the whole chicken evenly.

These are packed in vacuum sealed bags in a compostable tray to prevent the bones from puncturing the bag. They will remain fresh for up to 2 years in your freezer like that. But, if you are like us, they would never be there that long.

All of our chickens are corn and soy free, non-GMO fed and raised in shelters in pasture.

They are available at Farms on Main where you can also get some organic sweet corn and other goodies to go with the chicken for your summer grilling!

Did you know that pork is a great source of thiamine, or vitamin B1? It is a better source of thiamine than beef, chicken, or lamb. We raise Berkshire-Ossabaw cross pig in paddocks where they have access to scrub, blackberry briars, honeysuckle and other plants. They also get a ration of corn and soy free, non-GMO feed. This combination results in lower omega 6 to omega 3 ratios.

Not the other white meat, our cross has a rich red meat with exceptional pork chops, especially. We raise them to about 250lbs so we have a nice chop cut 1.25 inches out of the center. The ends of the loin are packaged to make a superior loin roast at a slightly better price point per pound.

We also take the center of the bellies for bacon. and package the ends as fresh belly. The bacon is uncured, meaning it is cured using celery juice powder instead of chemical nitrates. It has a lightly smoked, natural flavor without the sugar of most store bought bacon.
