We just confirmed orders for chicks so we can have more chicken in the store. We should have about 200/month available starting mid November. We are also thinking ahead on pork. We added some pigs to our herd and we are looking at procuring additional Berkshire piglets to keep the freezers full. Thanks for your support.

Here is a chicken tractor we have nearly finished to house those new birds.

We were selling our products via a webstore powered by Barn2Door. We have shut down that store due to the inability to synch the inventory with the store point of sale system. In the short term, please feel free to call, we can still delivery on Thursday's but we need to do the order based on the inventory we have on hand manually. In a few more weeks we should have our new webstore launched and we will be back to doing it online.

There is a lot going on at the farm. We have been very focused on the store but with all the demand for our meat and eggs since we opened, we are trying to ramp up production of…everything.

We got 6 pigs, all pure Ossabaw, to increase our breeding stock and reintroduce some Ossabaw genetics. We will harvest a few of those in a couple of months so pay attention to that if you prefer more of a heritage breed pork.

We have 100 layers just starting to lay. We will have plenty of eggs from now on. At the beginning of a hen laying the eggs are small so we will price these at $5/doz for grade A Small eggs.

We have 110 turkeys on the pasture getting ready for your Thanksgiving table.

Lastly we are working on chicken tractors so we can get more chickens on the pasture—look for a restock in about 10 weeks.

We will be picking up chicken and bacon this Thursday. Will be in the freezers Friday.

We are also dropping off 5 hogs so if you want a half or whole hog, let us know. We can have it butchered to your specifications. We also allow you to choose from any sausage flavors we carry.

With the store so many more people are finding our products. We will be taking some pigs to market next week and chickens soon after. Also, keep checking back for the Thanksgiving Turkey preorder opening soon!
