This beautiful 200+ year old house sits amid a 362 acre working farm in the fox-hunting country of Mt. Victoria in Charles County, Maryland. It has been featured in Ripley's Believe It Or Not and its images are cataloged and recorded among the collections of the Library of Congress.

This May 1930 plat of "Mount Victoria" shows the part of the original "Hard Bargain" tract west of Mt. Victoria Road which was made part of "Mount Victoria" by the Crain family.
