Chickens available this week!

We did a trial run of 50 chickens at the new spot. Our smallest batch of chickens was processed this week. Small is not the right word for these meaties though. Most of these birds were 7lbs+!
We have a *very* limited number available for sale.please send a message of you want one. Otherwise, please just share in our joy at being back into the swing of things!

The day has finally come ! We have chicken! We're going to be operating on a small piece of land as we get restarted. This collaborative reentry comes with an opportunity to teach others. We will have 100 beautiful chickens available this fall!

Good news is coming! We're restarting the rabbitry!
Aannddd we have found a farm to partner with so we can raise up some birds ! As soon as I have details hammered out, I will be sending out an email update. Please, let us know if you're interested in the CSA or just picking up some chicken.

If enough preorders are placed, we can even do turkeys for the holidays!

Hi Folks,

We've been on 'hiatus' and continue to be on hiatus until further notice. Our relocation didn't work out as planned. We're currently looking for another appropriate piece of land, and while we will be able to provide rabbit this year, we're unable to raise enough poultry to provide for CSA or regular customers until we have the land.

Thank you for the ongoing support, and I hope to have great news by this summer!

Hey folks- If you'd like a turkey for thanksgiving, speak now, or forever hold your peas;) We have 15 to offer, and expect them to dress out around 15lbs. No huge birds- sorry!

Next week we'll have the very last fresh chicken of the year! We'll be at the SUFFERN Farmers' Market on the 23rd with fresh chicken and turkey. Duck and rabbit available by request!

Leading the redevelopment of the East River Market District in Lower Manhattan, New Amsterdam Market is held from 11am to 4pm on Sundays, at the old Fulton Fish Market in Lower Manhattan which is located on South Street between Beekman Street.
