Eight years ago, almost to the day, I set out with a pretty epic dream. To grow beautiful and diverse cut flowers and herbs that share stories, bring joy and support equitable and regenerative farming.
I can confidently say this mission has been achieved worlds over. It’s been my greatest honor to be the steward of this land for eight seasons alongside our team, my family and friends. A nano blip on its expansive timeline.
More than I could ever have imagined has transpired in eight seasons and I cherish every second, the surreal beautiful ones and the sorrowful just the same.
With that, an announcement! At the end of this month, a Frayed Knot chapter is ending, a new one hopeful to emerge. Certainly this is not an end to the story.
Our team, Jules and Lexie are moving on to work off of the farm. I (Emily) have decided to follow suit and will be pursuing full time work off the farm in 2026 as well.
The farm will remain the host for for your local flower needs for both floral professionals and retail customers. Please go give that page and website a follow!
Online sales of our specialty gift boxes, merch and handmade farm products will be available through the end of November. Every purchase means more than you know as we make this transition.
After this month we will be taking a pause from commitments/sales for 2026.
Thank you to everyone who has been a part of this journey, you are in my heart forever, you know who you are.
