Friday with Fred and Your 3 day Weekend Update!
A three-day weekend, beautiful fall weather, and an excuse to do absolutely nothing productive. Now THAT’S a holiday!
Fire up the grill, have some friends over, pour yourself something good, and swing by FISH for some of the good stuff!
We’ve got plenty of fresh seafood, Savenor’s meats, Pig Rock sausages, Durum Pasta, and a whole lot more! And if cooking isn’t on your agenda, we’ve got bowls and rolls ready to go!
Beautiful weather, some great football this weekend, and an extra day to recover from whatever trouble you manage to get yourself into. Not a bad deal!
So get outside, eat something good, have a few cocktails, and for the love of God, leave the yard work alone. Those damn leaves will still be there next weekend!

Well… we survived the Nor’Oyster of 2026!
Before we get into what’s happening at the shop this weekend, I need to say a HUGE thank you to everyone who helped make Oysterfest in the Port happen.
To all of our vendors, oyster farms, volunteers, everyone who traveled to Newburyport to be there, 90+ Cellars , RiverWalk Brewing Co. and, last but DEFINITELY not least… Nicole! Thank you.
There are so many people involved behind the scenes in pulling this event together, and there really aren’t enough words for me to express how grateful I am. And to everyone who came out and braved the wind and rain with us — THANK YOU! You certainly made the Nor’Oyster of 2026 one we won’t forget anytime soon.
Okay… enough of the mushy stuff.

It’s become Newburyport’s premier event and one of those days people genuinely look forward to all year long. Every year I hear from people asking when tickets are going on sale, making plans with friends and counting down until we do it all over again.
