I almost forgot to post about our Sunday sale! You’re seeing it just in time! Subscribers of our newsletter did get this information first. If you want to be in the know, go to our website and subscribe!

We had the white nectarine sale planned. However, we sold a lot of white nectarines today!! So we’re adding a special on baskets of peaches. These peaches are incredibly sweet, Honey June! That’s their actual name. If you like sweet and you like smaller sized peaches, and freestone, I highly suggest picking up a basket or two tomorrow!

We are open at the farmstand Thursday through Sunday from 10-4!

For all of you that have been waiting so patiently for the return of white peaches, now’s your time! And if you usually prefer yellow, give these a try! Sweet, floral and freestone. We’ll be harvesting these today and into next week.

We will not be at the Auburn or Nevada City farmers markets today, these pretty peaches weren’t quite ready in time. We’ll have some ready for you by open at the farmstand!

Here is our special for the weekend! We are attempting to clean up the trees after the rain, the fruit that’s left of these varieties are not suitable for wholesale or farmers markets. So, come get some at this killer price and help us recover a little of what we have lost.

THIS FRUIT WILL BE DELICIOUS AND NEEDS TO BE EATEN OR USED WITHIN A DAY OR SO. Nice and juicy and super flavorful. Price will be 10lbs for $20, 20lbs for $35!

This was a story I posted, you should really read all of post about mental health in the farming community. Farming is really hard, whatever it is you grow. Every crop has different challenges. I’m wondering how my farming community is doing, don’t be afraid to reach out. Even share your thoughts in the comments below.

I will start:

I am stressed. I am feeling overwhelmed. I feel like there is something we should have done to withstand these challenges, feels of inadequacy start to set in. I am, I know we all are, tired of “pivoting”. We are diversifying, we all are. Diversifying is essential to our survival. Not to mention all of the other things we are faced with that are out of our control: gas prices, costs of supplies essential to our sustainability going up, insecurity in the labor market, I could go on and on.

We are tired. I am tired. But still hopeful. And still stubborn and a little crazy. And we are already planning on how to adjust to these conditions this season and what we should plant next.

Our community support is amazing. You all always show up to keep our faith in place. And we know that for as long as we keep at it, you will, too.
