Our Amagaki persimmons are now in season!! Find them:

Thursday through Sunday from 10-4 at the farmstand at the orchard

On Tuesday in Roseville at the Fountains Shopping Center from 8-1

And we will be returning to the Sacramento Sunday market and Stonestown Sunday farmers market!

Other fall fruits and vegetables and October summer vegetables that just won’t quit!

Our Sunday, October 11th farmstand will be open for the Placer Grown Farm and Barn Tour. We will be all stocked up and highlighting organic produce!

Don’t forget that the farmstand is still open Thursday through Sunday from 10-4! Every week, another fall fruit or vegetable are added. Picking up produce from the farmstand supports farmers and your healthy body!

Follow us to Terra Madre Salon del Gusto in Turin, Italy! Next week, we will he a part of the largest Slow Food International gathering, and as a Slow Food Farm, we are especially honored to represent. Camelia will be a part of two panel discussions, and she is beyond grateful and excited to be a voice in the conversations. The first discussion will be during Terra Madre Americas Network Meeting, “Cultivating Political Change - Strengthening Slow Food as a Global Political Force for Food Systems Transformation”on September 25th, and at the celebration for “1000 Slow Food Farms Conference “ on the 26th. This really is such an honor. We’ll make sure to share our experience there at Terra Madre Salon del Gusto!

It looks like the season is changing, by the looks of the farmstand. We are so fortunate to have a network of multi-generational, organic farms to support. For example, certified organic apples are almost an anomaly, we’ve planted trees but they aren’t producing yet. If any of you are familiar with Sonoma County apples, in particular Sebastopol, you know that they are some of the best apples in the country. Fresh harvest, only in season, heirloom varieties that are incredibly delicious. Each apple has a very unique flavor, not all the same taste throughout the varieties. We will continue to offer these organic apples along with many other new items. By partnering with FEED Cooperative , we have access to an assortment of produce that is tough to grow here.

We support makers and growers that use sustainable practices, that only work with quality products. At the farmstand you’ll find a great representation of products made with intention. Pasta therapy 916 has pasta and sauces made with high quality ingredients using traditional methods.

Colorful mix of fresh gourmet mushrooms are now available at our farmstand. Lion’s Mane, Blue and Golden Oyster are part of the mix. We are so excited to offer Brendan Linnane mushrooms to our customers! We have a variety of products and produce all locally grown and handmaid.

The farmstand has become a “hub” or full farm store, partnering with so many great producers. We are planning to be open as normal, Thursday through Sunday from 10-4 throughout the year. We hope to see you all show up to support week after week!

I am especially excited to carry Early Bird Farm & Mill flour. We have an amazing selection. Non gmo, organic, milled in small batches in Grass Valley. From the home baker to the professional pastry chef, you will love the way this flour makes everything taste so much better!
