It has been almost exactly a year since I first had the idea to start my humane chick hatchery, and man it has been a wild ride!
It’s come with a lot of challenges - predators, fencing damage, unexpected costs and a number of other setbacks. It was as if the universe was checking in with me to make sure this is what I really wanted.
To be honest, there were a couple of moments that I thought about quitting, but overall, my desire and determination has stayed strong.
Finally, TODAY, I was able to open up a limited amount of chick orders on my website and I can’t tell you how good it feels to be here! This feels like the official start of this project and I can’t wait to see where it goes from here
