Sometimes you have to play in the mud to get the job done!

We had to plow and till the flower/corn/pumpkin garden while it was pretty soupy wet. It was fun(ny), muddy, and a workout!

Looking forward to the u-picks in the fall!

Grossness and sadness alert! Quite the opposite of our last post.

Last night, we lost a duck. One of our original ducks, making it a little more upsetting.

Again, it's part of farming, but still sad 😔

Cuteness alert!

Last baby lamb was born yesterday. So far baby and mama are doing great.

They'll be penned up together for a day or two to be observed and then back to pature they'll go 😁🐑🌾

The last story of Steven the lamb (PART 4)

Checked on Steven this morning and sadly he passed away during the night.

After moving Steven, we let his mama out of the pen and she frantically was baa-ing for her baby-looking in the thistles where we originally found him.

Unfortunately, this is farming. But you will be missed, little Steven 😔

The story of Steven the lamb (PART 3)

He seemed to be doing okay this morning. When we checked on him, he had milk all over his face and seemed satisfied. This evening, however, seems very weak.
