On feb 9, 2010, we were in Manhattan with our horses, pulling a modified Hummer H-2. The “Hummer Cart” or “CEO Stagecoach” was the creation of artist Jeremy Dean in protest of what was then a global fuel crisis, when diesel fuel was hovering around the $5/gallon mark. On the same date in 2026 (yesterday), fuel prices skyrocketed to $5.49. I haven’t seen any Hummer Carts in protest, yet.

Can you tell who’s who? I’ll be honest, it’s sometimes hard for us to know the difference! 😃
