One of the tests we do to evaluate our wines is this newly developed body test. By dropping a steel ball down this burette and measuring the time it takes to travel we measure the effective viscosity of the wine. I compare this against some standards that I’ve developed and we get a quantitative measurement of the wine’s body.

I took this shot in the vineyard this morning and used Claude to identify the number of species present. Claude identified 10, but then said it could be as many as 14 different species on my vineyard floor. This is what biodiversity looks like.
