Proof positive that that an off dry wine has a place in your cellar. In western NY we love kielbasa and sauerkraut. I added apples and potatoes to firm this up. Fantastic with our semi dry Riesling. The small amount of residual sugar perfectly offsets the sourness from the vinegar in the sauerkraut. The addition of apple and potatoes also soften it.
