🐴 KENJI’S OFFICIAL PROGRESS REPORT 🐴

Hi friends, Kenji here. 👋

Apparently I have been assigned a very important job at BS Farm Newington

Eat.
Then eat some more.
Take a little break.
And then, you guessed it… EAT AGAIN. 😂

The humans keep calling it my “healthy diet.” I personally call it finally receiving the level of room service I deserve. 👑🐴

They’ve been working hard to make sure my meals are healthy, balanced and exactly what I need to keep putting on weight and getting stronger. And I would just like everyone to know that I am taking my responsibilities VERY seriously. My appetite is great, my bowl-cleaning skills are exceptional, and I have absolutely no intention of letting good groceries go to waste. 😂🌱

I’m learning that getting healthy takes a little time, a lot of good food and some pretty dedicated humans.

Luckily, I’ve got all three. ❤️

Thanks to everyone who keeps asking about me, cheering me on and following my journey. I promise to continue doing my part…

One meal at a time. 🐴💚

🐴❤️ MEET KENJI — OUR NEWEST TEAM MEMBER ❤️🐴

Some stories just find their way into your heart… and Kenji’s found his way into ours.

Not long ago, he was fighting just to survive. Today, with every meal, every bale of hay, and every day of care, he’s slowly becoming a horse again. ❤️

We are so honored to announce that Homesteading Realty Team with Next Move Real Estate is officially sponsoring Kenji as our Equine Ambassador! 🐴🏡
He still has a journey ahead, but he won’t be walking it alone. We’ll be cheering him on, supporting his care, and sharing his incredible story every step of the way.
Because sometimes, finding a home means finding people who believe you’re worth saving. ❤️

✨ Follow along for weekly Kenji updates as we share his progress, milestones, and all the little victories along his road to recovery. We can’t wait for you to watch this sweet boy thrive! 🐴❤️

Welcome to the team, sweet boy. We already love you, Kenji. 🐴❤️

🌅 Kenji Update 🐴❤️

For everyone who has been following Kenji’s rescue journey, our sweet boy continues to make progress, one day, one meal, and apparently one blade of grass at a time. 😂

We’ve learned a little more about what his body needs, and we’ve made some adjustments to help support him as safely as possible. He’s now starting medication to address some of the underlying issues we’ve uncovered, and we’ll be doing some additional testing that will help guide us moving forward.

For now, the goal is simple: keep him comfortable, keep him gaining safely, and give him the time his body needs to heal.

And judging by this picture, Kenji is perfectly content with that plan. ❤️ He spends his days out in the pasture, eating, relaxing, and learning that life can be pretty darn good.

There’s still a road ahead of us, but seeing him peacefully grazing under a BS Farm sunset makes every bit of it worth it. 🌅🐴

Thank you to everyone who continues to ask about him, cheer him on, and follow his journey. Our rescue boy is doing good. ❤️

29 days at BS Farm. ❤️ Every meal, every bale of hay, every walk, every bucket of feed, and every little bit of care is paying off. He still has a long journey ahead, but seeing him slowly fill out and start looking like a healthy horse again reminds us why rescue is worth it. One day at a time, buddy. 🐴🤎

🌱 Exciting things are growing at BS Farm! 🌱

Our lush, green pasture is getting closer to being ready for horses to enjoy. After months of careful management, fertilizing, reseeding, and a little help from Mother Nature, the grass is coming in beautifully.

We're giving it just a little more time to mature and establish strong roots so it can provide healthy, nutritious grazing for our horses throughout the season. The wait will be worth it, thick green grass, happy horses, and plenty of room to roam.🐴💚
