It’s hard to believe that it’s been almost two years since Hurricane Helene ravaged our area. While much progress has been made in recovery, many of our small businesses are still on shaky ground. 😔
As you make your travel plans to our beautiful area, won’t you possibly consider patronizing a small business or two that has been severely impacted by the storm, and is possibly struggling to keep their business afloat? There was/is very little to no resources available for small businesses, and with catastrophic loss of revenue for most businesses in our area, the ripple effect is still felt here daily. God bless. 🤠🙏

What a special horse. We were blessed to know him.
Thank you to Shelly Pound for offering him to us. To his previous owner, Brandi Dixon and Wind Clark for always checking in on him and continuing to care about him even in his new home. For his first little buddy, Zane (in the pictures) - I’m sure he remembered you well. For his special friend, Lacey Costner who loved him as her own (they had the most special bond).
Also a huge thank you to Foothills Mobile Vet team and Dr. Hallie, for their prompt response to our call, and the care and compassion they showed for Wh***ey. Until we met again ol’ buddy. You were so very loved. Your Elk Mountain Family 🤠💔
