May has me full of gratitude. It has been an amazing month of spring flowers and growth in ways I never saw coming.
I had to be told no, so that I could say yes.
I am so thankful that so many of our flowers made it into the homes of so many people.
More than anything, I’m humbled that the Lord has been faithful to answer my prayers and help me submit to His will and not my own.

I was moved to tears yesterday as I read this in Psalm 65:8-13.
“You make the going out of the morning and the evening to shout for joy.
You visit the earth and water it;
you greatly enrich it;
the river of God is full of water;
you provide their grain, for so you have prepared it.
You water its furrows abundantly, settling its ridges, softening it with showers, and blessing its growth.
You crown the year with your bounty;
your wagon tracks overflow with abundance.
The pastures of the wilderness overflow, the hills gird themselves with joy,
the meadows cloth themselves with flocks,
the valleys deck themselves with grain,
they shout and sing together for joy.”

I am vessel simply creating with the things our creator has given to me in abundance. To Him be all glory.

Now, we get to rest for a couple of weeks. Newnan, we will be back for June Market Day!

Getting ready for Berries and Blooms tomorrow ! We are so excited to be participating. Ellie and I will be doing an intro on who we are and how we got started, along with a demonstration at 11:45. Downtown looks so cute and the drinks look amazing.

Graduation/Mother’s Day weekend is in the books. I’m thankful the Lord has blessed the work of our hands and allowed us to share the beautiful harvest. I’m thankful to do this alongside our talented daughter. Now it’s time to rest! Next weekend is packed with dance recitals and the first Berries and Blooms festival in the heart of Downtown Newnan!

Why do we start in trays instead of direct sowing?
🌱Control and space.
🐦‍⬛Last year we had issues with birds or insects disrupting seed.
🕰️I have to be intentional with our space. Things go out and in at just the right time.
🌻This is a cutting variety of sunflower. No branching and no pollen. We can control the size by spacing.
🟰This gets us beautiful sunflowers right up until fall.
You’ll see our colors change with the months. They truly are beautiful.

TBT almost four years ago when I had no idea what I was doing or where The Lord would lead us. Every single act has brought us to today. Our field looks much different now.
🌷There are rows covered with cloth and hiding are spring flowers waiting to bloom.
🌻The planning and preparation for this year has been well under way for months.
🌱Seeds are purchased.
🗓️The calendar is filled in.
The work that it takes to get flowers in your hands is long. And it’s worth it.
I’m ready to get back in the dirt.
