Here's how clover honey is made! This girl was photographed on our farm, going from flower to flower drinking up the nectar. She then would have returned to the hive and stored it in a cell. It takes 500+ bees traveling 40 - 50 miles each to gather enough nectar for 1 lb. of honey. No wonder honey is called 'liquid gold'!

This is 'Socks', curious about the camera! She's about 6 years old and gives us a beautiful calf every spring.
