I’d like to share a prayer request with my sweet friends. If you believe in the power of prayer, would you please join us in praying for my father-in-law? He will be undergoing open-heart surgery in the morning.

While we are grateful for the doctors and medical team caring for him, our ultimate trust is in the Lord, the Great Physician. We know that God is able, and we are believing Him to guide every hand, grant wisdom in every decision, and surround my father-in-law with His peace, strength, and protection.

Please pray for a successful surgery, a smooth recovery, and for our family as we place this situation in God’s hands. We are thankful to serve a God who still hears and answers prayer.

“Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee.” — Isaiah 41:10 ❤️🙏

About a month ago, do y’all remember me sharing this vintage Mother Goose cookie jar that my mother gave me? It had belonged to my Nanny, so I was beyond excited to receive such a special family treasure. ❤️

It had been stored away for quite some time and needed a good washing. Unfortunately, during the cleaning, much of the blue paint began to peel off. I was heartbroken.

I reached out to Alicia Beltz at Treasures Lost and Found, and she connected me with a talented friend/coworker who specializes in painting and restoration. My biggest request was that she preserve the integrity and character of the original goose—and she absolutely understood the assignment!

I dropped it off just before heading out of town to welcome my sweet grandbaby into the world. While I was away, she sent me a text that said, “It’ll be waiting on you when you get back.”

Well, my husband and I stopped by the antique store today, and y’all… just look at this beauty! 😍🪿💙

I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out, and I’m so thankful that this precious piece of family history has been given new life.

What a special keepsake—and now it has an even sweeter story to go with it. 💙🪿

So many of you have asked, and I’ve decided it’s time for my VERY FIRST Meet & Greet & Cookbook Signing! 📖❤️

I’m so excited to announce that we’ll be getting together September 19, 2026 from 11:00am-2pm at Treasures Lost & Found in Newnan, GA! 🥰

Y’all know how much I LOVE to antique, and Treasures Lost & Found is one of my favorite places to visit, so I thought this would be the perfect spot! ❤️ And while you’re there, you can browse around, do a little shopping, and maybe even find yourself a treasure or two! 😉🛍️

Most of all, I’m looking forward to meeting so many of you face-to-face! After all the cooking, laughing, sharing, and visiting we’ve done here on Facebook, it will be so special to finally hug your neck and meet you in person! 🥰
