yed for the great John Wooden. After graduating, Rolf returned to teach at Santa Ana High School, his alma mater. Early in his business career he saw the future of the wine business and has been a highly respected wine merchant and wine educator ever since. Managing Partner Rick Webster started in the wine business at Rolfs in 1968, attending wine classes at the weekly store meetings where he became fascinated with wine. After a stint in the Navy he returned to Rolfs because, as he says, "Wine got into my blood!" Established in 1953, Rolf’s has always been a little ahead of its time. When most people outside of Europe weren’t privy to the idea, we were one of the first to begin wine retail on American soil. As community education as our foundation, we built our business to introduce Newport Beach to the world of wine. With 100 years of combined experience and knowledge, our team is made of true connoisseurs. Our rare wines are carefully chosen from the thousands we taste yearly, and our sources range from Napa to New Zealand. Simply put: We know our stuff. Wine is our passion, and we’re excited to share it with you.
