This guy right here, we sure got lucky when Mark switched sides of the bar and joined the team.

Mark walked into Tradition about 5 years ago and knew Tradition was his spot. The staff and Copper Corner crew adopted him right away. He started volunteering for events and helping the bar staff when needed. It quickly turned into an opportunity to work behind the bar.

Mark is a proud dad of two beautiful daughters. He enjoys golfing, hiking, Heavy Metal concerts and most recently spending time with my fiancé. Did you know he proposed at Tradition?!?

Friends and family are what’s most important to Mark. If you have had the pleasure to meet him then you know first hand what a great guy Mark truly is.

Most of you know this lovely lady, Tiffany.

Tiffany started with us during in 2020, during the days of Covid, and then left for a bit to pursue her career as a teacher. She didn’t stray far and rejoined the team in 2025.

Tiffany has worked in the wine industry for 4 years and then love of craft beer piqued her interest leading her to join Tradition. Tiffany is always on the go! She teaches STEM in Newport News, on the leadership team for The Pink Boots of Hampton Roads, and an active member for the Newport News Master Gardeners.

When she’s not busy you can find her enjoying a cold beer, going to concerts, relaxing on the beach, or buying plants.

Have you met the newest member of our Tradition crew ?!?

Jerard joined us in late February of 2026 and has now become a regular face behind the bar and a perfect fit for our team.

Jerard has a passion for both indoor and outdoor experiences. When he’s not scaling boulders at the local climbing gym, you can find him running trails, or exploring the vibrant craft brewery scene, savoring every unique brew that comes his way. He appreciates a nice stout or an IPA. An avid fan of live music, Jerard often spends his weekends at concerts, soaking in the energy of local bands and discovering new sounds.

If you have met Jerard then you know, whether he’s climbing, sipping, or in the pit, Jerard embraces every moment; present in the experience.

Let’s keep those anniversary vibes going by dropping info on the first of THREE releases this Saturday.

This release, Mangifera, is a collaboration with the amazing Jessi.

Because no one can say it quite like Jessi, here’s what she has to say about her brew.

“Mangifera: An ancient tree bearing orange gold, the most commonly consumed fruit in the WORLD: the humble mango. Coupled with loads of rice and a modest helping of toasted coconut, this is another beer from my heart to yours. May this beer find and envelop you with tangy and juicy flavors, a luscious body, and a feeling of being rooted in our community. The friends that made this beer possible are as close and warm to me as a cup of sticky rice, as nutty as a bunch of coconuts, and as sweet and coveted as a perfectly ripe mango.”

In case you haven’t heard or are new to our page, we are celebrating 10 years of beers this weekend, June 26th-28th.

We wanted to take a moment and introduce the staff behind the bar that has helped grow Tradition into what it is today. They are such an important piece to making Tradition feel warm and welcoming to all. They love they what they do and enjoy seeing each of you.

So let’s start the introductions with Jessi.

Born and raised around the 757, Jessi found a home in breweries as early as 2015, and never let go. Passionate about animals, cooking, and the arts of all kinds, she’s always looking for something new to try out. Every style of beer is her favorite, and the best way to get her to smile is to share dog photos and a cold beer! 🍻

You can usually find Jessi working on Wednesday nights for trivia and on the weekends. If you don’t know her you will want to and if you do then you already know how awesome she is. 🍺✌️

Friends, patio beers, good eats, and those summer vibes.

We’re pouring those good vibes all day from NOON to 11pm. Bring your friends, family, the pups and come enjoy the perfect chill Saturday with us.

We have lunch and dinner covered by our good friends Sun’s Yum’s pulling in at 3pm. They haven’t been here in a while so let’s show them the love. Trust us you will be so glad you did!

If you can’t stay long, no worries. We have plenty of to go options for your Saturday adventures and don’t forget Father’s Day tomorrow. Grab his favorite beer to go or bring him out tomorrow from 12-4 for a special day of food, beer, free beard trims, and music.

We have BALI BALI Food Truck “Korean BBQ on the run” rolling in today at 4pm and Erik Gaines Music sets the evening vibes at 6:30.
