GOOD BBQ MAKES THE RAIN GO AWAY. WE WE WILL BE AT THE NEWPORT FARMERS MARKET SATURDAY, MAY 31st. We will have all of your favorite hardwood smoked meats including: pulled pork, ribs, brisket, smoked sausage and chicken quarters.
We will also have our sides of slaw, bourbon maple baked beans and cornbread. Also, we have a selection of vacuum packed meats. And last, but not least, bottles of your favorite sauce.

Here is a great flashback to Newport during what appears to be the 1960s. Note the buildings front right, were torn down to make way for a development that never happened, leaving a giant pit in its place.

Happy Veterans day to all of our Patriots! big shoutout to my #1 fan, supporter, hero and best of all my dad. Thank you for making one of the most selfless choices you could possibly make. One memory that will forever stick with me is chasing after the bus to get one last wave and glimpse of my dad before shipping off overseas with tears pouring down my face not knowing the return. Hey everyone!

Very tough decision to make these past few days but Freddy’s BBQ will be closed to the public for the winter! I’m going to take this time to get reorganized and game plan for next season. I’m so grateful for all of the positive feedback, growth and new faces. I truly didn’t know what to expect this year after branching off on my own with a fresh new start and new brand. Freddy’s BBQ wouldn’t exist without you all. Thank you for turning this dream into a reality and making it a hell of a ride so far. This has been a humbling experience and it’s just the beginning.
