Winter has been deep and cold this year in the Champlain valley. As much as we live for these conditions, we’re excited for the change in seasons.

L’Acadie blanc has quickly become one of our favorite variety’s to work with both in the vineyard and cellar. Originally bred in 1953 by Ollie A. Bradt, it thrives in cool coastal areas of Nova Scotia. Over the last 5 years we have increased our growing acreage of this variety significantly. It’s upright growth pattern is well suited for VSP, here shown at our Meach Cove site just a few hundred yards from Lake Champlain. In just a few weeks we will finalize planting at this site, full of L’Acadie.
