Last day on the lake. The kind you already know you’ll miss before it even ends. 🌊
This Terres de Saint-Louis 2025 from Coteaux Varois is the perfect last sip. Pale, luminous pink in the glass. It opens with strawberry, watermelon and a little citrus peel — like Provence sunshine poured over still water.
Crisp, dry, and effortlessly light. Fresh berries and herbs, a bright acidity that feels like a deep breath, and a finish as clean and quiet as the dock.
No more tomorrow here. Just this view, this glass, and the slow luxury of not rushing the goodbye.
Provence on a Canadian lake. I’ll take it. 🥂

Cottage mode: fully on. 🌿
This Cave Spring Vineyard 2023 Gamay is what slowing down tastes like. Bright ruby in the glass, it opens with juicy raspberry, Bing cherry and a little black pepper — like the lake breeze just picked up wild berries and a hint of the woods.

Light, lively, and effortlessly drinkable. Soft tannins, bright acidity, a finish that lingers as quietly as the view.

No agenda. No rush. Just this glass, this water, and the kind of afternoon that actually lasts.
Niagara doing cottage life perfectly.

DREAM IN RED 🍷

▫️Vessel: Cocoon Cabernet by
▫️Elixir: Tinto Pesquera Reserva 2019 by
▫️Feeling: Feeling: Silk-wrapped power and quiet grace

From the pioneering family in the heart of Ribera del Duero…a wine cradled by the Cocoon glass becomes pure, dreamlike emotion. Its generous curves awaken every hidden layer, transforming the pour into pure, dreamlike emotion — elegant, powerful, and endlessly seductive.

Close your eyes. Let the glass shape the feeling.

🥂What an honor to present as a fellow Dame at the Les Dames d’Escoffier Legacy Awards Boston Experience at celebrating Melinda

Established in 2009 by and supported by The Julia Child Foundation, these awards create transformative mentorship opportunities for women in food, beverage, and hospitality.

Deep gratitude to my fellow Dames for creating such a supportive and inspiring space, and to Melinda for the work she’s doing. It was a privilege to be part of this celebration.

We enjoyed delicious bites prepared by fellow Dames & raised glasses that told two beautiful stories of craftsmanship. generously shared their feather-light Fino Champagne Glasses and Starlight White Wine Glasses, while shared three expressive Finger Lakes wines: the elegant 2019 Cuvée Brut, the precise 2024 Dry Riesling, and the vibrant 2024 Dry Rosé.

Here’s to legacy, to women lifting women, and to always pouring with intention 🤍

When the heat refuses to quit and the air hangs heavy…
This is the reset button.
Sweaty bottle. Cool pool. And a glass of pure, dancing light.

Mère & Fille Réserve, poured into the Fino Champagne glass.

Grower champagne from the Grand Cru slopes of Aÿ — floral, mineral, citrus-bright, fine bubbles that lift the whole afternoon.

One sip and the temperature drops. Summer just met its match.

The Shape of the Pour 🥂 Part 1

Glass by Starlight White • Sips by Secret de Boisé Brut• Feeling by Cozy Luxury ✨

🍾✨ Why the Stölzle Lausitz Starlight white wine glass is my absolute go-to for Champagne V***e Olivier Secret de Boisé Brut from Vallée de la Marne:

That ultra-thin, filigree bowl and elegant pull let the creamy bubbles dance longer while opening up every seductive layer — toasted brioche, honeyed peach, nougat, grapefruit zest, and chalky minerality. The wider shape gives this Chardonnay beauty room to breathe and let the silky woody notes cozy up to you, delivering pure finesse and aromatic lift with zero fizz fatigue.

First sip? Instant elegance and joy. No flute compares.

Who else swears by a white wine glass for Champagne? Tell me your favorite glass ritual 👇

🏇 What began as a rainy day in Middletown, Rhode Island, transformed into a spectacular afternoon at the historic Newport Polo grounds on June 27. Set on Glen Farm — home to America’s first polo club (the Westchester Polo Club, founded in 1876 during the Gilded Age) — we watched Team USA take on Team Brazil in this beloved annual tradition. The skies cleared, the sun came out, and the crowds were buzzing with excitement from the first chukker to the last!

Brazil was in absolute fine form and rode away with a fantastic 10-6 victory to a sold out crowd. The vibe was just fantastic — people dancing, music playing, families all around. Pure convivial fun! We loved every minute of it. This is one tradition we never miss, rain or shine!

Don’t miss this weekly event, which happens rain or shine every Saturday Who else is obsessed with ?
