We've had a chilly and snowy start to the holiday season on the farm. Thanks to everyone who has come out and enjoyed their time finding a tree.

We are closing the appointment book for this season. The farm will remain open through December 20th for those with appointments.

Happy Thanksgiving week to everyone - excited that the 2025 tree season is upon us - was out in the fields this morning and the trees look great 😊. It will be cold and blustery on Friday and this weekend so bundle up when you head this way!!! 🌲🎄❄️💨❄️

It's Veterans Day 2025 and we'd like to thank all those who have served our nation in the military.

And this is the day where we open our appointment book to start taking reservations for cutting trees. As we have now for several years - TREE CUTTING WILL BE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY.

The farm opens the day after Thanksgiving - Friday November 28th - from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. We'll stay open for as long as our inventory holds out and will post updates here on FB. We've got a great supply of trees this year.

When requesting a date and time please also let me know the size tree you are looking for so I can track availability.

We will not be selling Turkish Fir this year - we love them but sadly so do the the white-tailed deer and we've been unable to stop them from destroying the trees. Next year we will start selling Korean Fir which - happily - the deer leave alone.

⛄️ ❄️❄️❄️ Season's Greetings from a blustery and cold Clover Hollow where we've had lots of folks out getting their 2024 Christmas tree...as of now (December 5th @ 1 p.m.) we have filled up our appointment schedule and will not be taking any more appointments for this season. If a slot opens up I'll post it on here.

If you've already made an appointment with us you'll be good to go and we'll look forward to seeing you soon.

Okay - trying this again - only this time with 9'+ v. 9" :)

A few quick updates for folks after a very busy weekend (thanks to everyone who came out in the snow!):
- We have pretty much sold through the 9'+ and above trees;
- We have sold out of the tree stands/holder that we sell.
We still have a pretty decent inventory and anticipate being open the next couple of weekends...by appointment only.

First I'd like to be sure to recognize and remember all the veterans from our families on this Veteran's Day 2024. And, as in past years, with the coming of Veteran's Day comes the time to start taking appointments for the 2024 Christmas tree season.

The farm opens on Friday November 29th with appointments starting from 10 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. Feel free to send me a note here on FB or call the farm: (540) 544-7192 and we'll work to get you an appointment on the schedule.

We have a good inventory of trees this year despite the exceedingly dry conditions. We DO NOT have Myers Spruce taller than 6' this year but should next year.

Given the record dryness, if you want a Grand Fir, we would suggest you plan on cutting the tree the second weekend, December 7th & 8th (or later). It is rare but in very dry years we have had some Grand Fir drop needles after being cut for more than 3 weeks. If we have a decent rain (more than 2") as we get to December that should help but at this point the forecasts do not favor that type of rain.

UPDATE: We are not taking any more appointments for the 2023 season. Demand has continued to be high and we're working hard to manage our inventory so that we have more trees available next year and beyond. Thank you and Merry Christmas!

With Veterans Day now finished we are ready to open the farm on the day after Thanksgiving. This year we are adopting an appointment system so cutting trees will be BY APPOINTMENT ONLY. We will remain open as long as you inventory lasts.

We are doing this to manage our inventory more effectively and to make sure everyone has a terrific experience - from parking availability, to the fields, to getting your tree loaded - we hope that appointments will allow us to manage the process more effectively.

Due to a recent death in the family, the farm will not be open to the public for the coming 2022 tree-cutting season. While we will miss seeing everyone this year, closing the farm has the added benefit of allowing us to rebuild our inventory after heavy sales the past 2 years.
