The birthday boy is a little drummer so of course he needed a drum cake! My favorite part was that he thought it was an actual drum and tried to play it. :D

A wedding cake I got to do for some special friends today. Bottom tier is chocolate cake, top two are vanilla and as always, everything is 100% from scratch! I bake with love and a ton of butter and sugar from my own recipes.

I have REALLY got to buy or make a Photo Booth! This little princess cake was so fun to do! All girly and glamour and princessy! My four year old granddaughter was certain it should be for her! I did promise her we could make a princess cake together, it was the only way I was allowed to give the cake to the actual birthday girl. 😅

I had the cake finished but then was asked to put her name on it so I had to shimmy a few stars around! The color in the other photos is accurate. I didn’t take the time to get good lighting after I adjusted for the name. The instructions I was given were “strawberry cake with turquoise stars” so I got to play!
