I have a mix of Black-eyed Susan's starts to offer up for sale. I have a few hundred I started this season and have some well established from the rarer dwarf varieties up to the giants.

Prices start at $3 each for a 4" pot of the youngest plants up to $14 for a well established start ready to grow to full maturity in your setting. The younger starts are a mix, not identifiable easily until they bloom next season, priced accordingly. The more mature established starts are in bloom still, and I will price by the plant and variety. Rarer varieties are at the top of the price chart. My plants are very healthy and always get the right nutrients for optimal growth, easily and safely transplantable this time of year.

Get a jump on next years blooms! Transplanting soon will supply more blooms next season. Balanced compost and custom potting mix made in house also available for sale.

20/$40 is as cheap as I'll go, bulk unpotted

Any potted amount over the count of 3 is $3 each. Cash can talk, though.

It's taken a few seasons to get this Elderberry healthy after being forgotten about by people before me here at the farm. I let the birds have the berries again this year. But next year, I'm claiming them as mine!

If you are interested in Elderberry starts next season, let me know. I'll be getting a few different varieties started from seed over the winter. Hopefully, I have 100s of each variety available.

I'll post what varieties I'll be growing when I have a chance. I believe I have black, red, and blue varieties.

24 pints of veggie broth processed yesterday, and it's very concentrated. There should be plenty to get me through until next time.

As much as I appreciate perserves, I needed the reminder of how much work it is doing it alone. I almost had all my dishes clean before I started! Lol. I can make a Hella mess of things sometimes.... more than occasionally. I do my best at cleaning up my wreckage, though.

My go-to for adding biology to my living compost, compost teas, and soil is peet and water from my marsh area. I also source microbiology from my dryland where there is a carbon source, like decomposing pine. There are different types of microbial life in each beneficial to breaking down everything that makes up a good balanced soil, making nutrients more available and soluble to anything that I grow. Soil that has an abundance of biological life adds a layer of protection to the life that grows in it. Protecting it from stresses of our everchanging growing environment and making those nutrients available to us when we eat it. It matters how the food we eat is grown. Stay healthy, my friends!
