Hello Windrush Berry pickers! Our 2026 harvest is still in progress but due to rain and fewer berries overall we are closing for ripening again. We will be closed Friday and Saturday, August 14-15, and be open again on Monday August 17. Always closed on Sunday. Thank you for your patience!

Opening Day 2026 here at Windrush Berry Farm has crept up in a hurry! Lots of rain and especially warm days seem to have given us a jump start on our BLUEBERRY season.
U-PICK on the farm will open this Thursday, July 23. We will be at Blacksburg Farmers Market on Saturday, July 25.
Our hours: Mon-Fri 8:00-noon, 5:00-7:00 pm. Sat 8:00-noon.
$3.25 per pound. Cash and cards accepted.
No dogs and bring take home containers.

Hello from Windrush Berry Farm in Newport! We are OPENING for u-pick this Thursday, July 24th from 8am-NOON and 5-7pm. We are also selling pints of berries at the Blacksburg Farmer’s Market on Saturdays! Cost for u-pick is $3.25 per pound. Cash or card. Please no dogs. Please bring take home containers. Come out and see us!

Hello from Windrush Farm in Newport! While other U-pick berry farms are opening, remember that ours are late-bearing “rabbit-eye” blueberries. They’re looking beautiful- no frost damage this year - ripening for our 2025 season, starting late July through early September. So save a spot on the August calendar and some space in the freezer! We’ll also be at the Blacksburg Farmer’s Market on Saturdays!
