Eggscentrically Unique Egg Production Eggs & Chickens

The eggs vary in color: brown, green, blue and pinkish. This page can be a lesson for anyone who wants to learn something about eggs.

I have started this page to show off the beauty, goodness & freshness of eggs from free-roaming chickens. I've raised chickens for 30 years. I know a little bit and what I don't know maybe one of y'all do. So, let's all have some fun & eat some eggs once in a while.

It can be easy to forget where our food comes from. It’s often prepackaged and shipped from states away.

But as a backyard flock raiser it’s different. You take pride in the eggs you collect from your girls and satisfaction in reclaiming self-sufficiency.

What made you want to start a backyard flock of your own? Share your flock story with us below!

Do you wish your girls could free range, but maybe you just don’t have the space?

Your flock can now get a taste of free range right in the coop!

Feed them Purina® Layena®+ Free Range® layer feed which is a complete feed with black soldier fly larvae that gives your hens a taste of free range in every bite.

Quiz time! What is the special “system” that Purina® Layena® feeds contain to help your chickens lay strong eggs?

A: The Oyster Strong® System! It is a blend of large- and small-particle calcium. The small particles are digested in the first few hours. The large particles break down later in the egg-formation process. Without the large particles, hens may pull calcium from their bones to make eggshells.

Purina®layer feeds are the only feeds available that include the Oyster Strong®System.

Try our feed with a $5 coupon*: https://bit.ly/3jUPokl

[*The Feed Greatness® Challenge is a 60-day feeding trial where you will feed Purina® feed, monitor your flock's performance and health, take pictures and receive emails with helpful information.]
