Last week one of our favorite customers stopped us in the co-op to take a photo of us with our kale ❤️

Oceana has some seriously good produce, and we feel pretty lucky to see our veggies sitting next to so many farmers we look up to.

Fresh produce can travel hundreds of miles before it reaches your table.

Ours travels 3 miles.

Our farm is just 3 miles from Oceana Food Co-op. Monday morning, we harvest, wash and pack our produce, load it into the van, and six minutes later, it’s getting displayed on the co-op’s shelves.

Harvested that morning. Grown 3 miles away.

Our furthest wholesale account is just 4 miles from the farm. We think that’s pretty dang neat.

Know your farmer. Know where your food comes from. Shop local when you can.

Produce!!! Sandwiches!!!

We’ll be at the Newport Farmers Market this weekend with our little baby produce stand and the usual seed-to-sandwich menu (yeah, that’s right, we literally plant the seeds, tend the plants, go out at night with black lights to pick bugs off the plants, harvest, wash, and prepare these veggies because we LOVE you and we want you to eat the freshest and tastiest sandwiches ever. We bake the bread too 😉 and our friends Populist Farm Charcuterie & Quality Meats do the hard stuff) 🌱🥪
