USA Agro Farm aims to become integral part of sustainable organic farming in the United States by positioning itself as one-stop farming platform for organic produce such as vegetables, fruits, medicinal and aromatic herbs/plants; grass-fed pastureland-raised livestocks such as eggs, chickens and goats. We bring our generations of farming spirit and expertise from Nepal to USA and strive to
serve local community their healthy food choice and contribute to reduce food insecurity.

Farming Family
Mr. Pradeep Thapa is learned farming enthusiast as he comes from generational farming family in Nepal. He is also brand consultant, digital journalist and IT professional. He has 29 years of print and digital media experience in Nepal and USA and 18 years of web development, digital branding experience in India and USA. Currently, he is the Editor-in-Chief of www.nepalism.com. He plans to take the family farming tradition to next level with the help from his youngest bother Khadga Bir Thapa who has started modern sustainable agriculture farming in 2000. Thapa’s father, a WWII war hero, late Insp. (SPFGC) Jit Bahadur Thapa Magar, IDSM, Burma Star (WWII) who became the first village chieftain of their native village Thulo Lumpek, Gulmi (Nepal) in 1962. After retiring from Singapore Police Force Gurkha Contingent (SPFGC) in 1959, he had taken agriculture farming training at famed Lumle Agriculture Research Center, Pokhara in 1960 which was funded by Kadoorie Charitable Foundation, Hong Kong. Coincidentally, youngest of Thapa family, Khadga also had taken agriculture training from the same center. Khadga is now a leading agro entrepreneur and trainer in Nepal. He is also USAID's Master Trainer of Business Literacy Program for farmers (2015-2017). He is also one of the Top 10 Entrepreneurs (Farmers) of Daayitwa Enterprize Challenge 2015 Gulmi, Nepal. My farm and livestocks will have well-fresh water throughout the frozen winter months- November to March. I know the immense value and impact this project will have on the success of my farming journey in the Northeast United States. I carried water from home in Lake Hopatcong every day for 6 winter months for my fledgling chickens that are now budding egg-laying beauties.🐥🐣🐓🥚 Now, with growing heard of goats, it would be almost impossible to make fresh water available in the coming winter.❄️☃️🐐🐐🐐

An enchanting visit to Bhumi Growers farm and insightful meeting with its owner/guardian Vivek and Seema Malik at Rutger’s University Agricultural Extension in Bordentown, New Jersey. The Malik couple gave up their Wall Street jobs and started this limey journey more than a decade ago and brought life to the 16 rarest of the rarer limes from around the world and now they happily supply to the best and finest restaurants in the United States. They’ve more than 800 trees of ‘Yuzu,’ ‘Sudachi’ lemon, ‘Calamansi’ orange, ‘Fukushu’ kumquat, ‘Nagami’ kumquat, ‘Meiwa’ kumquat, ‘Faustrime’ finger lime, ‘Makrut’ lime, ‘Rangpur’ lime, ‘Australian Finger Lime’ finger lime, ‘Eustis’ limequat, ‘Indio’ mandarinquat, and ‘Marrakech’ limonette. These lemons take 10 years to mature and then only start giving fruits. What a passion and dedication of Malik couple.👏

Hello Farm! We’re desperately looking forward to full recovery of our lovely 2 year old Tari, boer doe goat as she’s going through treatments. Goat can be infested by worms and viruses. We introduced green pastureland all for her and herd of 8 other goats. But as we’ve adopted some of them including her from confined environment so they are not used to pastureland grazing. It may take sometime to adjust to new environment. Let’s pray for her speedy recovery.🙏💞👏😘😭🙏

Hello Farm! Our Easter Egger Rooster Simha (सेते) thinks he can brood or incubate eggs that were laid by our heritage breed hens. What a lovely, caring boy he is. This Hall of Fame (not shame) is making him a rare sighting of a rooster doing this rare act of incubating. But, Poultrymen/women swear that a rooster can never hatch a chick. This fact makes me think of our overzealous boy being unisex in nature. And, I am absolutely rooting for his brooding effort.

He will soon be accompanied by his girlfriends Belly and Nelly, two beautiful does (female goats). Boer goats are considered best meat goats. A Winter Pond (पोखरी) at USA Agro Farm! USA Agro Farm Vlog: I wish this sinkhole turn med beautiful pond during winter freeze remains for year around at USA Agro Farm. We get up to minus (-) 17 degrees cold in winter that means everything comes to a halt. Freezing water system is major problem for farming but there is a way to make amends with nature. Video proof that Oliver is not welcome! Love Triangle or Love Cube? Oliver’s One-sided Love Story ! I know now that there is no guarantee in animal kingdom that alpha male can impress a female. Exact phenomenon unfolded at our USA Agro Farm. Our Easter egger rooster Oliver is alpha male. He’s already defeated our adopted Speckled Sussex rooster Bartolito but our adopted beauty Buff Brahma Coruleka didn’t give him a pecking order- ignoring him and spoiling his precious foraging time. Coruleka is our newly adopted dazzling beauty and only girl of the sixth-month maturity out of our 100+ heritage breed chickens. Coruleka’s best friend and our another adopted beauty Speckled Sussex Batarasa is also not interested with Oliver either. Batarasa is not mature but could scare Oliver with aggressive NO! (look photo or watch video for proof). They have instead choosen their long time friend and underdog Bartolito over towering personality Oliver!
