Taking orders for something that’s doesn’t exist yet feels weird but planning ahead is bee-keeping is a key to healthy bees.
This Nuc season we are taking orders only through a physical order form, which can be sent to you on respect.

What type of bees do we have is a common question, but normally it comes from from someone looking to start bee-keeping here in the North America. In this video I was adressing a man's question who expressed off carmra was to learning about bees while traveling in New Jersey to then go back home to India and keep bees. In India there is a lot of diverity amongs speices, in America we have one speices.
However, North American have two main breeds or sub species Apis mellifera carnica and A. m. lligustica commonly known as Carniolan and Italian bees. It is hard to tell the differance without watching for a season. We sell Italian mutts in our nucs as we have found they do the best here in New Jersey by mesuer of honey production and temperment. If you are interested in buying honey bees DM me and I will send you an order form.

We like to think that the Queen is the controler of the hives when it really isnt the case. the hive is regulated but not just one bee, but by the whole colony as a superorganism. Queen is just a work we use becasue we are speaking (and writing) english, the Swedish as a word that traslates to "mother" a more accurate work to discribe the bee that lays all the eggs in the colony.

WHOOPS moved off carmera but that is but you come see it for yourself, July 11th at 1030 and 230 I will be hosting a beekeeping demo. At the last demo there was a lot of interest to sample the royal jelly and bee-bread, both are popular in Ireland and other EU countries.

What Royal jelly, how is it harvested, and how can someone get some. I dont sell royal jelly nor do I understand how somoene would be able to sell it. But if you come to the Demo july11th at 1030 or 230 I would let you drip your fingers into a cell and taste.
