Today, June 16th:

We just got back from delivering your donations to WNC for this week (we deliver on Tuesdays now). THANK YOU SO MUCH! As soon as we got home my friend, Ursula Carpenter called on her way back from the mission that she does in WNC saying she needs some donations for a family up there that she didn't have asking if I had it, (we trade needs back and forth sometime). I told her I just delivered what I had, but that I would ask yall.

I know I've been asking a lot from you all and some of you are going over and above with the donations. This post is for the ones who maybe have been wanting to donate but just haven't found the time yet. PLEASE HELP. Our contest for one of Joe's custom benches is still going on and your name may just be the one picked, July 31st. WE NEED DONATIONS EVERY WEEK TO KEEP US MOVING AND HELPING DO GOD'S WORK. God wants us ALL to be his servant and what better way than helping those in need. You maybe the one to wins this bench as well😉. If we're not home just leave your name and # with the donation each time you come by.

YARD SALE & THRIFT SHOPPERS....I had a lady contact me in regard to a friend. She's trying to help her friend, a mother of 4 who is still struggling after Helene. She has been sick for a while and needs a little help. She does not have transportation at this time. If you're out this weekend and find some good deals and want to help, I'm looking for clothes in these sizes:

4t for a boy
12 yr old boy: Adult L, Pants size 34
15 yr old girl: Adult S, Pants size 2
9 yr old girl: Size 7/8 or M Youth

If at all possible, I'd need them this weekend (June 13th or 14th). You can drop things by the farm and leave them on the table or in the box at the end of the driveway. Please leave your name and phone # so I can enter you in the drawing for one of Joe's handmade wooden benches. Drawing last day of July.

It was a soggy day to take your donations to WNC this morning, but let me tell you about how God works. It was pouring rain when we were less than 3 miles away from the Outreach center. Joe said we were going to have to unload fast or we were going to really get soaked, I told him I wasn't worried. We've been up there plenty times when its been raining just like today and the rain ALWAYS stops long enough to get unloaded. Well, guess what, he did it again today. God's got this and always will.😉 Oh, I took a few photos of the inside of their Outreach Ministry Center to show you what it looks like. It's not a real big place, but they serve lots of folks each week. They work really hard keeping it stocked. It takes a lot of donations. If you've not given in the past I'd like for you to consider donating a little something. Thanks to the ones who do donate. It really is appreciated.

I just had a lady stop by this morning with a generous donation to WNC. We will be delivering weekly on Tuesday from now on as long as we keep getting your donations. Bring them by anytime. YOU don't have to give this much, any amount helps. REMEMBER, anytime you donate your name will go in a pot for a drawing for one of Joe's woodworking items valued at $200, just make sure you have your name and phone # on it. DRAWING will be the last day of July. Will you be the winner of the bench in the photo?

Joe has made a few more items to sell. He's been busy trying to catch up on all I want him to make me 😂. The sconces on my porch in this photo are mine but he can make you some as well and finish them in a stain or paint of your choice. I also have one of the trays. The one in the photo is made of solid oak and has a natural finish on it. I also am selling this old highchair as a plant stand or book stand that my boys used when they were babies. I used it as a plant stand in my kitchen and to hold my receipe books on the bottom shelf. My youngest grandson used it as a booster set at the table. I'll put the price under the photos. Folks it's that time again. I need your DONITIONS for WNC. Joe and I came up with an idea that we hope will boost donations. EACH time you bring a donation to go to WNC we'll put your name in a drawing for one of Joe's pieces of woodwork valued at $200. We'll run this little contest until the last day of July. The MORE times you bring a donation the more chances you'll have of winning. When you bring your donations just make sure you have attached your name and phone number. If you brought things last week, I went ahead and added your name, that means you have 1 chance for the donation you gave. Please help us get those donations! If you send through Amazon, make sure you let me know who you are and what you donated so I can add your name.
