Shelves for sale.... Joe's been at it again. These are heavy built shelves handmade by Joe. These are heirloom quality, solid wood and will last a lifetime. $150 FIRM. 30" long, 14" high, shelf depth is 5 1/2". One natural finish with 3 pewter hooks, one darker finish with 2 black hooks. Joe has been making more benches. We have 4 for sale, $200 FIRM. These are cheap considering the quality and price of wood. The dimensions are, seat 10", base 15", height 18", length 5 ft. 2 are made of Ashe and 2 are Hickory wood. 2 finished in a dark walnut stain and 2 in early American stain. Very heavy built and heirloom quality.

Folks, I've had a request from the lady who runs the distribution site in Avery County. She would like to have some "Girly Stuff" for her shelves. Things that schoolgirls like, hair brushes, hair products, etc. Can you help a girl out? We'll deliver items on Tuesday.

WE'LL OPEN THE DOVE FIELD ON MONDAY, SEPT. 7th, at 6 a.m. AS WELL.

PLEASE BRING CORRECT CHANGE AND CASH ONLY. This will get you to the fields faster. This is for Saturday & Mondays hunt as well. Same price for Monday. Thanks, we want to get you checked in and to the fields ASAP.

We have had an overwhelming response to the dove field for opening day and had to cut the number of hunters off. We dont want you packed in here. If you are on the waiting list or just want to hunt Monday let us know by texting me at 828-461-2012.

Well, yall, as of yesterday morning we didn't have enough donations to go to WNC. I thought GOD didn't want us to go but he showed me. Today we're on our way with a packed truck headed to Avery County. The distribution site sees approximately 600 people a week needing assistance almost 2 years after Helene. Please continue to donate. Get your churches, work groups, cubs, etc involved in donating at least 1 item. If we can do that it doesn't cost any of us much.

Well, I just wanted to let you all know that GOD is showing out right now 😂. If you don't have a personal relationship with GOD I highly recommend you getting one. I didn't have many donations this week for WNC. I asked him if I was supposed to go this week and he answered. One of my friends in the Maiden area runs a beauty salon and a lot of her clients donate money for her to purchase supplies for WNC. She called this morning and asked if I could swing by and pick up the donations. My truck bed is FULL. Of food, diapers, hygiene products, etc. Think you to the folks who get your hair done there and that donated. I still have a big back seat that needs to be filled before tomorrow morning if you'd like to bring something by.😉

I just want to share with you what a community can do when they work together. Several of you have been helping me collect and donate things for a man that was homeless. I just wanted to say as of 6:00 p.m. this afternoon he has an apartment that's fully furnished thanks to so many of you. He has a queen size bed with bedding, recliner, table and chairs, dresser, futon, clothes, towels and hygiene products, TV, coffee pot, toaster, blender, microwave, plates, pots and pans, and just everything he needs to get his life back on track. This man is so kind and has so much potential, it just takes a little kindness from so many caring people to change someone's life for the better. Please pray for him, he's had to go through some hip surgery and is facing shoulder surgery, but now he'll be able to recuperate in his own place. He wants to thank all of you for what you did. God bless you all.

Wow, it's been a busy day today. We loaded the truck early this morning with yalls donated supplies for WNC. My son, Ben Devine and I took them to Avery County. We'll be taking the supplies each week there because our regular outreach center is closing due to health reasons of the woman who was in charge of it. I'll miss that place, they had such wonderful people that I'll miss seeing every week. The name of the place we'll be going to now is called Foscoe Home Team, they serve around 600 folks a week. They are located near the entrance of Grandfather's Mountain. They have volunteer needs. If anyone would like to go up and help. Please keep to donations coming. Folks in WNC still need you. The photos are of their new warehouse and distribution site.
