Farmer Lady Flowers is a small family flower farm in Allentown, NJ. We are seasonal growers of specialty cut flowers, from seed to vase. We embrace the Slow Flowers model and grow unique varieties of high end blooms while farming sustainably without synthetic chemicals. Farmer Lady Flowers offers seasonal bouquet subscriptions, bulk floral buckets, and wedding florals.

It won’t be long before the dahlias start rolling in… they’re starting to bloom, but September will really be a knock out! We have many new varieties this year like these Doris Duke dahlias, shades of berry, mauve and pink, white, bronze and red.

Photo dump, a week in flowers. There are a lot of times when we’ve just harvested thousands of flowers over days with not many photos taken! Guess I’m too busy living in the moment, or scrambling to tasks before work time is up- but photos always slow me down to look back and appreciate all that makes up these busy weeks!

The hydrangeas are really putting out the blooms this year (we’ve reached season 3 for these plants). Lots of creamy white and just about getting to the antiqued stage, where the blooms start blushing. Love them into the fall as they age darker too! This is about 25 plants we purchased from Pleasant Run Nursery 🌸 in 2024. They also make me happy just to see them when I pull into the farm every day.

Now the summer stuff is starting to bloom! Zinnia, cosmos, lisianthus, scabiosa, nicotiana… beautiful shades of peach, pink and coral. Lots more planted for the late summer and fall, with celosia, marigold and amaranth not far behind.

We’re looking forward to being Yardley Farmers Market this Saturday 9-noon.
