Hear our rooster crow and watch them nest in trees at dusk. Watch the goats and sheep play in pastures. Collect free-range eggs. Cut flowers or stroll out to

The staff that you will find setting up and working at events at our farm are learning how to be event planners. This is an active farm with people who have intellectual and developmental disabilities that work daily with our livestock, agriculture, and the Inn. They take great pride in making your stay and event as wonderful as possible. By staying at the Inn or booking an event, our guests increase the opportunity for our staff to make interesting acquaintances, learn about new places, become more proficient at hospitality, housekeeping, and event planning and share their enthusiasm and knowledge about Red Tomato Farm & Inn. YOUR STAY AT THE INN

Three sleeping rooms, each aptly named for different tomato varieties, are available. Once you check-in, you may enjoy our beautiful Inn garden while relaxing in the front porch chairs. Our free-range chickens and rooster as well as our goats sometimes find shelter within our bank barn. On hot days, guests can enjoy a soak in our outdoor pool. Come evening, step outside for the firefly show and listen to the crickets. After a comfortable night’s rest, enjoy a breakfast prepared by our participants. Guests are welcome to play with our resident cat, feed the animals, gather eggs and cuddle with our rabbits. Take a stroll down the driveway. Enjoy a picnic just outside of the Inn by our summer kitchen. Experience the Warmth of Nostalgia at Red Tomato Farm & Inn!
Step into a world where every detail feels like a hug from the past!

We love when our guests have an awesome experience. Here are a few words from one of our recent visitors, "Loved the customer focus - host left me a personalized chalk board welcome on the front porch. Loved the nostalgia. Door latches, like on Grandma’s house - gave me pleasant memories."

We're here to evoke pleasant memories and create new ones. Thank you for letting us be a part of your journey!

Stone House Farm & Inn is pleased to announce an opening art reception for “Community View”, an environmental art project by artist Carol Reed. The event will take place on September 14th from 4-6 pm, and all community members are welcome to attend. You can enjoy refreshments and take tours while visiting this new art installation on the farm's grounds.

Reed has collected images of open-and-closed eyes to create a final project that includes a mix of local and remote images. Although these two groups may never meet in person, she will join them together through her "Community View" project. The images will be drawn on porcelain plaques, with open eyes on one side and closed on the other. The plaques will be fully fired but not sealed with glaze, allowing nature to interact with the rough matte surface. The community is invited to view the finished plaques which will be placed at two different heights on the grounds of Stone House Farm, facing each other so they can interact.

This project is possible from the Arts for All, an initiative of the Greater Harrisburg Community Foundation, regional foundation of The Foundation for Enhancing Communities.
