We have squash, zucchini, potatoes, and onions coming in now and will have cucumbers, melons, blueberries and corn in the next few days.

‼️We will be looking for a part time to possibly full time worker this summer! ‼️

We would love to see a FFA/4H student step up to this opportunity or someone with a passion for agriculture and helping to supply our local communities with produce. work details will include managing produce fields-supporting plants, moving sprinklers, washing, packing and storing produce in cooler room, assisting at local farm markets, and occasionally helping in hay fields. It will require light to moderate lifting.

Hours will be somewhat flexible and pay depending on knowledge, experience, and initiative.

Against all traditional judgment, we’re planting! First succession of Squash, cucumber, zucchini, and corn going in the ground! A little early yet but a little voice in my head keeps saying go for it. Life’s a gamble right??!?

Okay y’all! it’s time to let the cat out of the bag! we will be expanding greatly from our roadside market last year by opening Shelley’s Station in tumbleton!!!! Hotdogs, corn dogs, Blt’s and more on the menu! Farm fresh produce under the pavilion out front from Coyote Holler Farms and and selling all grass fed beef from our good friends at Casablanca Ranch!! We are not open yet but working diligently to be open by early spring! We would like to say thank you all for so much support and ask for you all to please share and help us start getting the word out to everyone.

Potato and onions ‘23! Y’all the time has finally came for us to get in the dirt!! We are excited to bring several new items to this years market stands and road side market. With Vidalia type onions being one of them. Y’all follow us and keep a close eye on our other new items as we get in the gardens this year and please share our page as much as possible as we have some really big expansions coming this year!!

Hey y’all! Let’s talk citrus trees!🍋🍊
🍊I will start by saying that citrus trees are ALOT more hardy than they are given credit for but the keyword here is going to be PATIENCE.

🍊I have had many many many trees lose leaves completely and come spring get new growth and bounce back to a full tree again in one season. So even if your citrus trees are looking real sad right now there is hope.

🍊DO NOT TRIM or cut anything right now. The limbs that are dead will help insulate the healthy growth if we have another cold snap BUT ALSO cutting your tree right now can put it into even more shock. You really suppose to wait a year after a hard freeze to trim your citrus but I would say end of spring/ summer if you just can’t wait.

🍊If your tree is losing leaves it is shocked and just trying to figure out what just hit it. Your tree will drop leaves naturally to preserve its energy. The same way we don’t like to be bothered when we don’t feel good, nether does your tree so don’t mess with it too much. If you start cutting it, picking at it, overwatering it, over fertilizing it, etc etc. it’ll take longer to recover.

🍊Add worm castings to your sad trees, this acts like a multi vitamin and promotes new growth! We sell this here on our farm. It’s 10/10 the best thing for a sad tree.

🍊Nobody panic, trust the process and know that citrus trees are probably tougher than you.

🍊ALSO it is way to soon to even know if your tree is dead SO don’t go pulling them up just yet.
