Sylvan Dell Lavender Farm, LLC In 2021, with inspiration from God and help from family, we started a Lavender Farm in Newville, Pennsylvania.

Our mission is to promote tranquility and wellness with lavender while giving God the glory.

It's distilling season on the farm! Each batch processes for 45 minutes in our copper still and renders 2 to 4 ounces of lavender essential oil.

The bees have been amazing this year and we are starting to collect the lavender honey frames from the hives. The color is so light and the flavor is so smooth. We are still working on getting it bottled up. It will be on the shelves soon.

These guys have been helping with the harvest. Our Munstead Lavender is blooming way behind schedule this year and the stems are a bit shorter. This seems to be a trend with most growers on the east coast. I'm super curious to see how thing go next year.

Tomorrow evening, June 19th, from 4pm-9pm is the start of our annual open field day. We'll be open again on Saturday, June 20th, from 8am-4pm.
We will have food vendors, games, craft vendors, a massage therapist, and cut-your-own bouquets.

The ladies from Christian Bible Fellowship Church enjoyed their tea party in the lavender field on Friday. They are such a fun group. The gentlemen did a wonderful job serving the tea. Thank you to everyone that attended, and a special thank you for those that brought food along.
