As we enter our 30th year of selling pumpkins in the Town of Niagara, the landscape of our farm is presently undergoing a significant alteration. Of course, this was not of our choosing, but this road expansion is something our family farm will have to deal with in the fall, as well as throughout the entire year.
Although the final result of this project has yet to be seen, we are currently thinking of safe alternatives & solutions to ensure the safety of our family & customers alike when we open the stand for the season in September, due to the close proximity of the road to our usual setup. We have always been a literal “roadside stand” set up in the front yard of our farmhouse on Lockport Rd., and we will do everything we can to continue that tradition that we started back in 1996.
I will admit, I (stubbornly) have never cared for change. And as you can imagine, this is not something our family ever thought would happen on our quiet end of town… But it is, and we will continue to take this process one day at a time.
On a more positive note: Our pumpkin seeds are in hand, planting season is right around the corner, and we will figure out a way to safely supply your family with pumpkins this season!
Thank you all for your continued support & Thank you for allowing us to serve you for 30 YEARS!!!
