Unfortunately, our ice machine will no longer be available to the public.
We’ve always operated our ice machine on an honor system, with an honesty box for payments. Sadly, someone recently decided to break into the honesty box and steal the money.
Even more disappointing, the Eastwing hammer used to break into the box has been recovered and turned over to local authorities.
Because of this incident, we’ve had to make the difficult decision to close the ice machine to public use.
We sincerely appreciate all of our honest customers who respected the honor system and paid for their ice. Unfortunately, it only takes one person to ruin a convenience that was intended for everyone.
