How long have I been volunteering?
Our food bank launched in May 2007. In the beginning, we distributed food once a month. I joined the team in June 2007.

How did I hear about FFC?
After the first distribution, Pastor asked those who served to stand up during a service. I noticed the 12- 15 or so people who stood up and decided that I wanted to volunteer. I had been at BHC for less than a year and thought that would be a good opportunity to meet new people. Little did I know what that decision would turn into over 18 years later.

We are incredibly grateful to our amazing volunteers and community supporters who made yesterday's food distribution at the Family Food Center a success.

Together, we are making sure our neighbors have what they need. Thank you for standing with us!

FFC is special because of the clients, community donors, and volunteers :

• The clients — their resilience, gratitude, and stories they share.They are a blessing to me.

• Community donors — individuals and partners who give so generously every week.

• Dedicated volunteers — those who show up every week to pray, provide food, encourage, and offer a simple smile.

It’s a place where compassion is in action , and where community truly comes together. It’s a place where you can see God’s handiwork moving and touching lives.
