💙 Teonni. By Fairview’s Mark My Words out of Spunky Brewster, she is certainly full of personality and sass. To say she is confident is an understatement. Named for the University of Kentucky Women's Basketball player Teonni Key, she has been nothing but enjoyment since the day she arrived….slightly early and in time for March Madness.

It has taken me a long time to write about losing Swish. He was 29 this year and we thought he would live forever. It was one of our greatest honors to care for him for over 20 years. Swish still snorted when he was turned out. He developed friendships with his pasture mates and all of the babies/yearlings he could play with over the fence. Now people were a different story. He valued his personal space and you knew it. To say we will miss him is an understatement. We still listen for his impatient whinny in the morning as he loved going out. Swish, thank you. It was a privilege.

Today we said goodbye to Rudi, aka WC CH New York’s Perfect Gift. Rudi was 22, loved animal crackers, eating grass, and hanging out with his best buddy, Swish. Sired by I’m A New Yorker and out of WC CH Undulata’s Perfect Gift, he was owned and loved his entire life by breeder Betsy Thomas. Rudi had quite a stellar show career but he lived his best life in retirement at Carriage Lane. To say we will miss him is an understatement. Rest in Peace Champ!
